The Florida Panthers visit the Washington Capitals on Saturday afternoon to start a challenging three-game road trip. The trip also features back-to-back weekend matinees against Washington and the Atlantic Division-leading Boston Bruins before concluding Tuesday in Columbus. By the end of this stretch, Florida will have contested 13 of its first 19 games away from home.
Head coach Paul Maurice stated that the team will go 13 days without a formal practice until November 19 because of the congested schedule. Maurice indicated that no major lineup changes were expected following a recent win over Chicago.
