Brandon Aubrey has confidence in everything around him

Dallas Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey discussed his preparation, the NFL's kickoff rules, and his role in the offense during an interview with RJ Ochoa. Now in his fourth season with the team, Aubrey addressed whether his elite kicking range influences offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to call plays more conservatively when the team enters field goal territory.

Aubrey stated that while he is not involved in play-calling decisions, teams generally prefer to avoid turnovers and protect scoring opportunities inside field goal range. RJ Ochoa notes that entering Week 9, the Cowboys had attempted the fewest fourth-down conversions on fourth-and-5 or shorter within field goal range, raising questions about offensive reliance on Aubrey.
