Michael Carrick laughs off Man Utd claim as Antonio Conte opinion emerges

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has dismissed comparisons between his recent Champions League victory over AS Roma and Sir Alex Ferguson's famous 1990 FA Cup win. Despite Carrick's team recovering from 2-0 down to win 3-2 in Europe, United remain 17th in the Premier League after a seven-game winless run, leading to ongoing speculation regarding his job security.

Former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte has been linked with the potential vacancy at Old Trafford. However, former Premier League defender William Gallas warned Manchester United against hiring Conte, arguing that modern dressing room dynamics and poor recruitment issues would prevent the Italian from fixing the club's struggles.
