The 27-year-old is entering the final months of his contract at Newcastle, leaving the Premier League side vulnerable to losing him on a free transfer or seeing him sign a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs.

Besiktas previously failed to reach a permanent deal in the summer when Newcastle valued Willock between £17 million and £20 million. Despite the transfer interest, Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle stated that he hopes to retain the midfielder and is open to a contract extension.
