The centre-back was in the matchday squad in midweek but a no-show against Hull…
William Saliba was left out of Arsenal's matchday squad against Hull to build up fitness with the Under-21s. Manager Mikel Arteta confirmed the defender has not suffered an injury setback and is instead scheduled to feature for Arsenal's youth side against Aston Villa on Sunday.
Saliba has been sidelined this season due to a serious back injury sustained at the World Cup. After making the bench against Slavia Prague in midweek, the French centre-back will remain with Arsenal over the international break following Zinedine Zidane's decision not to call him up for France.
