The Salt River Rafters suffered an 8-7 defeat after a late rally fell short, dropping their Arizona Fall League record to 13-14. Starting pitcher R.J. Sales surrendered six runs in three-plus innings, while catcher Kevin Bazzell reached base three times with a double and two walks. Bazzell, Banks, and Jarlin Susana are scheduled to represent the National League roster in the Fall Stars game.
