An exhibition honoring football legend Kevin Keegan attracted 3,805 visitors during a free weekend event at the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art. The display showcased hundreds of shirts, scarves, and tributes originally left outside Newcastle United's St James' Park following Keegan's death at age 75 on July 20.
Designed by fan group Wor Flags, the tribute featured a 57-foot banner alongside a commemorative film celebrating Keegan's life and career. Keegan, who was recently posthumously awarded the Freedom of Newcastle, remains deeply revered on Tyneside for his historic achievements as both a player and manager.
