JENNY SUGARMAN has been making a case for the defence during Wrexham Women’s tilt to become back-to-back Adran Premier champions.
Wrexham Women head coach Jenny Sugarman has praised her team's defensive structure following a successful start to their Adran Premier campaign. The Reds currently sit top of the league table with eight wins from their opening nine matches. Their latest defensive success came in a 4-0 win against Briton Ferry Llansawel, marking their fourth clean sheet of the season.
Sugarman highlighted the defensive setup and credited goalkeeper Lucy Farrell for a crucial second-half save that was tipped onto the crossbar. She also commended her defenders for reacting quickly to clear the danger. Wrexham next face Llanfair United in the Adran Trophy.
