Matthias Jaissle's verdict on Newcastle United's 1-1 draw at Fulham…
Newcastle United head coach Matthias Jaissle expressed his frustration after his side conceded a late equalizer to draw 1-1 against Fulham at Craven Cottage. Newcastle opened the scoring in the 83rd minute with a long-range strike from Jacob Murphy, but substitute Rodrigo Muniz quickly capitalized on chaotic defending to level the match for the hosts.
Jaissle described the defensive lapse as "slapstick" and also voiced his displeasure over a first-half Dan Burn goal that was disallowed for a foul by Yoane Wissa. Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa praised his squad's progress as his team extended their unbeaten run to four matches.
