INJURY UPDATE: The Cheetahs have provided an update on Springbok World Cup-winning scrumhalf, Faf de Klerk.

Springbok scrumhalf Faf de Klerk will be sidelined for eight weeks after suffering an ankle injury while playing for the Cheetahs. The 35-year-old sustained the injury during his team's narrow 29-27 defeat against French club Bayonne in the opening round of the EPCR Challenge Cup.
De Klerk is slated to miss the Cheetahs' upcoming match against the Dragons. However, he is expected to return to action in early January for their Round Three Challenge Cup encounter against Zebre Parma in Italy.
