The Story in 60 Seconds

Thousands of Wales rugby supporters travelling to the South Wales Valleys and Vale of Glamorgan cannot use Cardiff Central after autumn internationals. Instead, Transport for Wales is directing those passengers to Cardiff Queen Street station, roughly a 15-minute walk from the Principality Stadium, starting with the clash against Japan on November 7.

Great Western Railway has also announced that all inbound services to Cardiff Central prior to matches will be reservation-only. The changes follow a successful trial during the Six Nations and aim to manage post-match queues ahead of a £140 million redevelopment project at Cardiff Central.
