Detroit Red Wings Assistant GM Spotted At Sabres – Columbus Game

Detroit Red Wings Assistant General Manager Kris Draper was spotted in attendance at the Buffalo Sabres' 5-2 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday. The sighting comes as Detroit continues scouting amid ongoing trade discussions involving forward Dylan Larkin and restricted free agent defenseman Simon Edvinsson. Draper has attended at least two Sabres games this regular season.

Buffalo general manager Jarmo Kekalainen has reportedly sought scoring help following Alex Tuch's departure and previously approached Detroit regarding Larkin. However, Detroit's immediate priority may be resolving Edvinsson's situation, as the 23-year-old blueliner must sign an NHL contract by the December 1 deadline to play this season.
