Yaxel Lendeborg embraces life- changing moment for family

Golden State Warriors rookie Yaxel Lendeborg surprised his mother, Yissel Raposo, by buying her a new house in California. The emotional reveal was shared on Lendeborg's YouTube channel as the debut episode of his behind-the-scenes rookie season vlog series titled "This one's for Mama Yax." Lendeborg spent two to three months searching for the home with help from his sister to relocate his mother from New Jersey.

Lendeborg has credited his mother as his primary role model, having previously detailed how she supported him through grief during high school. On the court, the rookie is thriving alongside Steph Curry during a six-game winning streak for Golden State, averaging 31.8 minutes per game with two 30-point performances already recorded this season.
