Mr. October, the NFL's top takeaway machine and five milestones within reach as Houston heads to Los Angeles…

Houston Texans kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn enters Week 9 in exceptional form after earning AFC Special Teams Player of the Month honors for October. Fairbairn converted all 11 field goal attempts during the month, including five from at least 50 yards and a game-winner against Jacksonville. He ranks second in NFL history in field goal accuracy among kickers with at least 300 attempts, connecting at an 87.9 percent rate.
Ahead of Houston's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium, the Texans are also tracking key milestones and team streaks. The Texans lead the NFL with 35 takeaways against just 15 giveaways over their past 24 games. Additionally, receiver Tank Dell needs just one reception to reach 100 for his career, while Fairbairn sits one 50-plus-yard field goal away from tying Sebastian Janikowski for third-most in league history.
