Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen will miss Saturday's home matchup against the New York Knicks due to a right knee contusion. The 28-year-old big man suffered the injury on Wednesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder, playing just seven minutes before departing. Allen was subsequently sidelined for Cleveland's 119-95 NBA Cup victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
While the injury does not appear serious, the Cavaliers are exercising caution to prevent lingering discomfort. Cleveland holds a 5-4 record as they navigate the second night of a back-to-back set without Allen, who provides interior defense alongside teammate Evan Mobley.
