J.J. McCarthy gets latest Giants road test in Philadelphia house of horrors

New York Giants quarterback J.J. McCarthy is preparing to face the Philadelphia Eagles on the road at Lincoln Financial Field, where the Giants have not won since 2013. Coming off a 27-21 overtime victory against the Houston Texans in his first start with the team, McCarthy remains unfazed by hostile atmospheres, noting his prior experience navigating loud collegiate and NFL environments.

Head coach John Harbaugh expressed full confidence in McCarthy's ability to handle intense road conditions. Meanwhile, the struggling 2-6 Eagles will have running back Saquon Barkley active despite recent hamstring and back issues. Ahead of the contest, the Giants elevated wide receiver Jalin Hyatt, running back Phil Mafah, and outside linebacker Dawuane Smoot from the practice squad.
