Senators and Mammoth Enter Saturday’s Showdown Dead Even In The NHL Standings

The Ottawa Senators host the Utah Mammoth on Saturday night at Canadian Tire Centre, with both teams entering the game tied with matching 10-6-1 records and 21 points. Ottawa heads into the matchup following a 2-1 victory over the Buffalo Sabres, while Utah looks to rebound from a 5-4 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens. The contest also marks Shane Pinto's 300th career NHL game.

Goaltender Samuel Ersson will make another start for Ottawa as Linus Ullmark remains sidelined with a lower-body injury. Utah features strong offensive momentum, including Logan Cooley's two hat tricks in four games and four players who have already reached the 20-point mark this season. The Senators will also celebrate Alumni Night during the event.
