For the past two consecutive Februarys, Anthony Davis has found himself on the move. He first landed in Dallas before another trade sent him to Washington. Now, barely nine months into his Wizards stint, speculation about his future is picking…

ESPN insider Brian Windhorst described a potential Los Angeles Lakers reunion with Washington Wizards forward Anthony Davis as "very unlikely." Despite rumors sparked by comments shared by Scot Kaplan on ESPN Radio Los Angeles, Windhorst noted that Washington wants to evaluate Davis over 20 to 30 games before deciding on a contract extension, which would take him off the trade market entirely.
Windhorst explained that the Lakers face major roadblocks in acquiring Davis via trade due to limited assets after acquiring center Walker Kessler from the Utah Jazz. Furthermore, Davis would likely need to force a trade specifically to Los Angeles for any deal to become realistic.
