2027 South Side Sox Top Prospect No. 92: Diego Natera

South Side Sox ranked 19-year-old catcher Diego Natera at No. 92 in their 2027 Top 100 Chicago White Sox prospects list. Writer Year of the Hamster explained that the ranking represents taking a flier on the young prospect ahead of his anticipated move stateside to the Arizona Complex League (ACL) in 2027.

The White Sox signed Natera internationally in January 2025 for a $225,000 bonus. After struggling offensively in 2025 despite throwing out 36 percent of base-stealers, Natera improved at the plate in 2026, batting .314/.400/.600 with one home run across 31 Dominican Summer League games.
