The Story in 60 Seconds

Nottingham Forest players Arnaud Kalimuendo, Cuiabano, and John Victor have emerged as targets for potential January moves. Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung has reportedly been in contact regarding another loan move for Kalimuendo after previously having him on loan. Meanwhile, Brazilian club Vasco da Gama have reportedly submitted an offer of €7m (£6.1m) to sign left-back Cuiabano permanently following his current loan spell.

Vasco da Gama are also in negotiations with the representatives of Forest goalkeeper John Victor over a permanent deal, with Forest reportedly demanding around €9m (£7.5m). Sarah Clapson notes that while Kalimuendo has suffered from a lack of playing time under Oliver Glasner, Forest must avoid leaving themselves short in attack. Forest must also decide whether to accept reduced fees for Cuiabano and John.
