Chelsea and Liverpool have contacted the representatives of Brentford left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf to explore a possible permanent transfer. The 21-year-old Senegal international has drawn strong interest across English football for his pace and athleticism. Reports indicate that any future deal for the defender could require a transfer fee between €50m and €60m.
Brentford are reportedly in no rush to sell after signing Diouf from West Ham for up to £40m in August. Head coach Keith Andrews previously highlighted the player's potential, and with Diouf under contract until 2031, Brentford have no intention of sanctioning a departure during the January transfer window.
