Former NFL star Michael Strahan and fans congratulated Mark Ingram following his induction into the New Orleans Saints Hall of Fame. Ingram was honored alongside former offensive tackle Terron Armstead and press box security supervisor Sal La Rock. Although broadcasting obligations with FOX prevented Ingram from attending the ceremony in person, he expressed deep gratitude in a prerecorded message to the organization and fans.
Ingram was selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Saints after winning the Heisman Trophy at Alabama under Nick Saban. Across 123 appearances with New Orleans, he compiled 6,500 rushing yards and 52 touchdowns, briefly holding the franchise all-time rushing record before Alvin Kamara surpassed it in 2024.
