Meet Newcastle United’s title winner looking to repeat hat-trick heroics at St James’ Park

Newcastle United forward Kathleen McGovern is targeting another goalscoring performance as the unbeaten WSL 2 leaders host Burnley at St James' Park. The Scotland international previously scored a hat-trick against Burnley during a pre-season friendly and is aiming to replicate that success in competitive action this Sunday.

McGovern joined Newcastle after scoring 51 goals in 65 games and winning the Scottish Women's Premier League title with Hibernian. Following a recent 2-2 comeback draw against Nottingham Forest in which she scored, McGovern emphasized the team's strong mentality and called on supporters to attend the stadium clash.
