The Story in 60 Seconds

Elliot Anderson made his return to the City Ground following his £116 million move to Manchester City as Nottingham Forest secured a 3-1 victory under Oliver Glasner. After the final whistle, Anderson briefly clapped the traveling Manchester City fans before taking time to applaud all four stands of Nottingham Forest supporters, followed by a warm reception from Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis in the tunnel.

On the pitch, Forest took early control with goals from Jair Cunha and Liam Delap inside the opening 18 minutes. Although Rayan Cherki pulled one back for Manchester City after halftime, Delap added his second of the match to seal the win, while Forest midfielders Xaver Schlager and Ryan Yates kept Anderson largely quiet throughout the contest.
