Crosby surpassed Marcel Dionne for sixth all-time in NHL scoring, and he's on the heels of the next guy in front of him.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby surpassed Marcel Dionne for sixth place on the NHL's all-time scoring list. Crosby reached the milestone with a second-period goal during a Saturday night victory against the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena, later adding an empty-netter to secure his 1,773rd career point and snap Pittsburgh's four-game losing streak.
The 39-year-old forward is currently pursuing fifth-place Ron Francis, who sits at 1,798 career points. Crosby is playing in the final season of a two-year contract extension signed in 2024 and has indicated he will take a year-by-year approach to future playing decisions.
