Manchester United XI vs Aston Villa: Predicted lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Premier League today

Manchester United face Aston Villa in the Premier League at Old Trafford with manager Michael Carrick dealing with multiple selection issues. Midfielder Carlos Baleba has been ruled out for several weeks after suffering a hamstring injury during Tuesday's 3-2 Champions League win over Roma. Lisandro Martinez is suspended following his red card against Chelsea, while Harry Maguire is expected to be fit despite limping off in midweek.

Patrick Dorgu returned to training and could offer Carrick a natural left-back option, though he remains doubtful. Forward Benjamin Sesko is sidelined until the new year with a shin problem, paving the way for Bryan Mbeumo to lead the attack with Shea Lacey widely reported to start on the right.
