Mikel Arteta has confirmed that William Saliba will play for the Arsenal u21s this weekend, as the defender builds up his minutes after injury.

Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Arsenal defender William Saliba will feature for the under-21s against Aston Villa on Sunday. Saliba was omitted from the senior squad against Hull City after being an unused substitute in midweek, with Arteta clarifying that playing in the youth match will help build his fitness ahead of the upcoming international break.
The under-21 fixture will take place at Meadow Park at 14:00 GMT and will be streamed by Arsenal. Academy defender Marli Salmon is expected to partner Saliba as the young Gunners search for their first Premier League 2 victory of the season.
