The way out of a losing streak wasn’t that complicated for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Pittsburgh Penguins snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-2 victory against the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena. Sidney Crosby scored two goals, moving past Marcel Dionne for sixth place on the NHL's all-time scoring list with 1,773 career points. Tommy Novak also scored twice early in the first period, while rookie goaltender Sergei Murashov stopped 26 of 28 shots to secure the win.
Egor Chinakhov added a power-play goal for Pittsburgh, with Evgeni Malkin contributing two assists to reach 20th place on the NHL's career scoring list. Corey Perry and Alex Laferriere scored the goals for Los Angeles, but a potential game-tying goal by Artemi Panarin in the second period was overturned following a successful offside challenge by Pittsburgh.
