Maple Leafs Activate John Tavares, Recall Artur Akhtyamov

The Toronto Maple Leafs have activated forward John Tavares off injured reserve and recalled goaltender Artur Akhtyamov from the AHL's Toronto Marlies ahead of their game against Montreal. Tavares returns after missing nine games due to a lower-body injury, following a strong start where he registered seven points in seven games.

Akhtyamov joins the team for his second recall of the season to provide goaltending depth and serve as backup for the weekend back-to-back. With these roster moves, the Maple Leafs have reached their active roster limit of 23 players.
