Kylian Mbappe scores for the seventh consecutive match as Real Madrid beat Valencia 3-0 and move level with Barcelona at the top of La Liga.

Kylian Mbappe scored in his seventh consecutive match as Real Madrid defeated Valencia 3-0 at Mestalla on Saturday. The goal marked Mbappe's 17th strike across all competitions this season, helping Jose Mourinho's side claim their eighth consecutive victory. The result moved Real Madrid level on 30 points with La Liga leaders Barcelona, who maintain the top spot on goal difference ahead of their match with Atletico Madrid.
Federico Valverde and Arda Guler also scored for Madrid before Mbappe added the third in the 75th minute. Valencia captain Jose Gaya was later sent off for a foul on Mbappe. The Frenchman's seven-game scoring run matches previous streaks achieved at the club by Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
