Liverpool reportedly identify a £33.4m Alisson Becker replacement, but they may have to fend off Real Madrid's advances to sign him.

Liverpool have reportedly identified Brighton & Hove Albion goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen as a potential permanent replacement for Alisson Becker. With the 34-year-old Alisson approaching the end of his contract and facing scrutiny under manager Andoni Iraola, Liverpool are working on a succession plan despite having Giorgi Mamardashvili on their books.
Verbruggen, who is valued at £33.4m and has two years remaining on his contract, could command significant interest. Real Madrid are also reportedly considering the 24-year-old Netherlands international as a future successor to Thibaut Courtois.
