Barcelona and Liverpool are allegedly considering whether to launch an approach for a Chelsea defender during one of the 2027 transfer windows.

Barcelona and Liverpool are reportedly monitoring Chelsea defender Levi Colwill ahead of a potential permanent move next year. According to Caught Offside, both clubs are open-minded regarding an approach for the 23-year-old England international, with internal discussions already said to have taken place at Barcelona. It is believed that it could require an offer of £75m for Chelsea to consider selling the centre-back.
Colwill remains under contract at Stamford Bridge until 2029 and has started eight of Chelsea's first nine Premier League fixtures under manager Xabi Alonso. Contract negotiations between Chelsea and Colwill are expected to take place in the New Year, although finalizing any extension may depend on whether the player seeks a new challenge elsewhere.
