Thomas Frank has emerged as a leading candidate to take over as Crystal Palace manager if the Eagles decide to sack Pierre Sage.

Thomas Frank has emerged as a leading contender to take over as Crystal Palace manager if the club parts ways with Pierre Sage. While no official decision has been finalized, Sage is widely expected to lose his job following a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool, which marked the team's seventh league loss of the season and left Palace at the bottom of the Premier League table.
Frank, who previously managed Brentford and was dismissed by Tottenham earlier this year, was previously considered by Palace during the summer. Sage replaced Oliver Glasner ahead of the campaign, but after a difficult start, pundit Jamie Carragher suggested Palace cannot risk relegation and will likely appoint a replacement before their next fixture.
