He stated: “At the moment, the closest to me is Savage. So he is my priority on August 12.”
Savage brings a serious threat into the contest, holding an 11-1 record with 11 knockouts. His lone career defeat came on points against Brandon Moore, proving his ability to handle distance against quality opposition. Teremoana must remain defensively sharp against the powerful American while looking to keep his stoppage streak intact. Still, the Australian maintains massive long-term targets across the division.
He said: “When people ask if I want to fight Justis, yeah, I want to fight Justis. I want to fight Moses Itauma. I want to fight Filip Hrgovic. I want to fight Daniel Dubois. I want to fight Oleksandr Usyk, Agit Kabayel. I want to fight all of these people. But obviously I’ve got to earn my way there.”
