Williams brings proven interior presence to the Saints’ defensive line. Undrafted out of Weber State in 2020, he spent his rookie season on the practice squad before carving out a regular role in Los Angeles. His workload expanded significantly in 2023, starting 16 games alongside Aaron Donald on a Rams defense that reached the postseason. During that campaign, Williams accumulated 49 tackles, two sacks, four tackles for loss, and four quarterback hits across 17 regular-season appearances. Over his primary three-year stint with the Rams from 2021 to 2023, he tallied 77 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and eight quarterback hits in 42 games.

After a brief stint on the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad in late 2024, the Rams briefly reclaimed him to cover injuries before Williams joined New Orleans on a one-year deal in March 2025. His familiarity with multiple defensive fronts allows New Orleans to deploy him across distinct blitz packages without requiring extended learning time.
