Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany and his coaching staff have shown an increased interest in youth development, regularly attending academy matches despite a challenging period for Bayern Munich II under former defender Dante.
Among the highlighted prospects are 17-year-old midfielder Simon Schaff, who recently featured in Bayern's preseason squad against Heidenheim, 16-year-old striker Bastian Assomo, who scored during the senior team's preseason tour, and 16-year-old U-17 winger Linus Ludwig.
