Dejan Kulusevski appears to have taken another promising step forward on the road to recovery

Dejan Kulusevski has returned to first-team training with Tottenham Hotspur ahead of their Premier League clash against Aston Villa. The 26-year-old midfielder has been sidelined since suffering a complex knee injury against Crystal Palace in May 2025. Although Kulusevski joined training alongside teammates including Micky van de Ven, he remains unlikely to feature in Saturday's match.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed the club will manage Kulusevski's workload carefully following his surgery and extended recovery period. De Zerbi noted that the upcoming international break will be vital for the midfielder to rebuild his condition before making his competitive return to the pitch.
