Shakur Stevenson teases Ryan Garcia clash with friendly message to fellow champion

Four-weight world champion Shakur Stevenson has teased a future bout with WBC welterweight champion Ryan Garcia following a friendly exchange on social media. Garcia recently retained his title with a two-round stoppage victory over Conor Benn in Las Vegas. Following the win, Garcia praised Stevenson on social media, prompting a respectful reply from Stevenson about a future matchup.

The friendly exchange marks a shift in tone for the fighters, who have previously traded insults. Stevenson has previously labeled Garcia "overrated" and a "weight bully," while Garcia has called Stevenson "arrogant." Stevenson, who recently defeated Teofimo Lopez, is now fighting under Dana White's Zuffa Boxing banner, which could facilitate a future clash.
