Khamzat Chimaev’s middleweight comeback takes a hit as he gains 6lbs in latest RAF weigh-in

Khamzat Chimaev weighed in at 198.8lbs for his upcoming grappling match against Gilbert Burns at RAF 13 at the Watsco Center in Miami, Florida. The weight mark is exactly the same as Burns and represents a six-pound increase for Chimaev compared to his weigh-in two weeks earlier at RAF Moscow.

The increase raises questions regarding Chimaev's readiness to return to the UFC 185lb middleweight division. Additionally, Chimaev stated during a press conference that he is set to wrestle Colby Covington at an expected RAF event in Abu Dhabi on November 15.
