Rangers midfielder Dan Neil recently announced himself to supporters by scoring a brace in a victory over rivals Celtic. The 24-year-old Englishman joined the Govan outfit on a free transfer during the summer after leaving his boyhood club Sunderland. He is currently playing under manager Derek McInnes at the Ibrox club.
Neil signed a three-year contract that keeps him at the club until the summer of 2029. He reportedly earns around £30,000 per week. Despite a rocky start to his Scottish Premiership career, his recent performance in the League Cup has raised expectations ahead of the upcoming league derby.
