Leicester Confirm New Goalkeeper Signing, Former Ipswich and Preston Shotstopper Arrives

Leicester City have confirmed the signing of veteran Welsh goalkeeper David "Dai" Cornell on a one-year contract. The 35-year-old shotstopper arrives to provide experienced depth to the squad, serving as an alternative option alongside goalkeepers Ravizzoli and McCarthy. The move comes as Stevie Bausor is currently out on loan at Slough Town and Jakub Stolarczyk remains sidelined with an injury.

Cornell spent last season at Preston as an understudy to Daniel Iversen and has previously played for clubs including Ipswich, Northampton, and St. Mirren. Leicester manager Russell Martin praised Cornell as a strong character who adds valuable experience to the squad.
