David Moyes, aware of the importance of Jarrad Branthwaite, hopes to keep him as an Everton focal point as he hits fitness and form

David Moyes plans to build Everton around Jarrad Branthwaite to demonstrate that the defender's ambitions can be satisfied at the club. Moyes noted that securing Branthwaite to a new contract was a major objective during his return in 2025, particularly after Everton resisted transfer interest from Manchester United.
After enduring hamstring surgery and missed time the previous season, Branthwaite underwent rehabilitation with specialists in Germany and has started every league game this season. His strong form has earned him a recall to the England national team squad for the first time in over two years.
