The big day has arrived for Zinédine Zidane. At 6 p.m., the new coach of the France team will unveil

Zinédine Zidane is set to unveil his first squad list as the new manager of the France national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps. Zidane and his coaching staff established an initial pre-selection list of 55 players, featuring five candidates for each position. The staff has focused on a highly structured, multi-layered observation process to evaluate both established and lesser-known French players.
To avoid single-impression bias, Zidane's staff rotates their scouting regions every three months. Assistant David Bettoni, observer Stéphane Plancque, goalkeeper coach Fabien Barthez, and video analyst Farid Tabet have divided scouting duties across various European leagues. Players like Adrien Truffert and Lucas Da Cunha have reportedly received close monitoring under this new system.
