French team: revelations on Zinédine Zidane’s method for composing his first list!

Zinédine Zidane is set to unveil his first squad list as the new manager of the France national team, succeeding Didier Deschamps. Zidane and his coaching staff established an initial pre-selection list of 55 players, featuring five candidates for each position. The staff has focused on a highly structured, multi-layered observation process to evaluate both established and lesser-known French players.

To avoid single-impression bias, Zidane's staff rotates their scouting regions every three months.
