The Los Angeles Lakers have signed undrafted free agents Chase Ross and Meechie Johnson to Exhibit 10 contracts ahead of training camp. Both players went undrafted in June and are expected to compete for roster spots before likely being waived to join the G League.
If waived, both Ross and Johnson will be eligible for a bonus worth up to $91,000 if they spend at least 60 days with the Coachella Valley Lakers. Ross previously played for Marquette and appeared in the Summer League for the Lakers, while Johnson finished his collegiate career at South Carolina.
