Tottenham Hotspur is set to host Aston Villa on Saturday in a Premier League matchup featuring two struggling sides. Under manager Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham remains winless and scoreless in their first four league matches of the season. The North London club currently sits 17th in the table with just two points, following consecutive goalless draws against Nottingham Forest and Everton.
Aston Villa has also endured a difficult start to the campaign, sitting 19th in the table with only one point. While Villa suffered a late 2-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest last weekend, they did advance in the Carabao Cup midweek with a 3-1 victory over Coventry City. Meanwhile, Tottenham was eliminated from the Carabao Cup on Tuesday after a 3-1 loss to Liverpool.
