Baltimore Ravens defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver compared New Orleans Saints quarterback Tyler Shough to a "poor man's Josh Allen" ahead of their upcoming Sunday matchup. Weaver praised Shough's arm talent and athletic ability, noting that the Ravens must remain conscious of his scrambling and play-extending skills, particularly in the low red zone.

Shough earned the comparison after an explosive start to the 2026 season. In the Saints' 31-30 overtime loss to the Detroit Lions, Shough completed 35 of 56 passes for 410 yards and three touchdowns, joining Drew Brees and Aaron Brooks as the only Saints quarterbacks to record a 400-yard passing game.
