Arsenal reportedly have a diminished chance of signing Barcelona winger Raphinha following the player's recent comments about his future. Reports earlier in September had linked the Premier League club with a potential January transfer bid exceeding £80 million for the 29-year-old Brazilian international.
However, Raphinha has publicly stated his desire to renew his contract and eventually finish his career at Barcelona. The winger, who has scored nine goals in his first six La Liga matches under manager Hansi Flick, indicated he would only leave the Spanish club if the coach no longer counted on him.
