Andy Ruiz Jr offered comeback fight by British heavyweight

Former unified heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr has been targeted as a potential opponent by British heavyweight Dave Allen. Ruiz recently suffered a convincing unanimous decision defeat against Damian Knyba, which included a heavy seventh-round knockdown. Despite this setback, the Mexican-American fighter remains a prominent name as he plots his next move in the heavyweight division.

Dave Allen expressed his strong interest in facing Ruiz for what would be his 40th and final professional fight. Speaking to IFL TV, the Doncaster heavyweight stated he plans to return to the ring in December before pursuing the matchup with Ruiz. Allen acknowledged he might not strictly deserve the fight but would eagerly accept the opportunity if it arises.
