The Minnesota Vikings have named Carson Wentz as their starting quarterback for the Week 2 game against the Chicago Bears. Wentz replaces Kyler Murray, who was ruled out after suffering a concussion against the Green Bay Packers on September 18. Wentz previously came off the bench in Week 1, throwing for 133 yards and three touchdowns to help secure a victory.
Despite Wentz starting, former Vikings linebacker Ben Leber believes the team will not permanently replace Murray. Leber stated that the organization and fan base want to see the offense run by Murray once he is healthy, which could be as early as the following week against Tampa Bay.
