Matchroom Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has expressed uncertainty regarding Conor Benn's chances in a potential trilogy fight against Chris Eubank Jr at 168 pounds. Hearn admitted that previous fight contracts were negotiated to give Benn the best possible advantage, including weight limits and rehydration clauses.
Eubank won their first meeting in 2025 by unanimous decision, while Benn won the rematch later that year via a wide points decision. Benn, who recently suffered a second-round stoppage defeat to Ryan Garcia, is expected to campaign at middleweight or super-middleweight moving forward.
